Location
This photo was taken at deep creek lake Maryland.Time
It was evening the sun was beginning to set.Lighting
The lighting this day was amazing! Creamy blues and purples.Equipment
I use my trusty canon 7d. I used a tamron 18-270 lens.Inspiration
It’s funny, I want to photograph this cabin every time I am in deep creek, but we are always on our way home after a long weekend there. So my hubby never wants to stop. So this day I said I am going to get this shot. I rolled down my window and set my shutter to turbo, and started shooting as he was driving about 55 miles an hour!!! I nailed the shot of this beautiful cabin and love it to this day.Editing
I just enhanced this photo nothing more. The sky actually looked like that. The snow and light gave it a painting like quality. In my camera bag
I carry my 7d, nifty 50 lens, 85 lens. And tamron 18-270 zoom.Feedback
It doesn’t matter if you carry expensive equipment, lenses etc, the one important thing is that you are shooting, period. You will never get the shot if you are worrying about the next great piece of glass! There’s a famous saying in photography and it goes like this...what is the best camera to use? The answer.....the one you are holding right now! Good statement. Just get out there and shoot, have fun and the rest will come.
