Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Puerto Juarez, Mexico. Every day several pelicans would fly by the balcony, but always at a distance. This fella came in closer. A lot closer.

Time

It was taken early afternoon.

Lighting

Sun was the only lighting.

Equipment

It was a handheld shot, shutter priority, with a Nikon P900, 1/1000 sec. f/4.5 39.3 mm

Inspiration

The pelican teased everyday. Just had to be patient.

Editing

No post processing except for some cropping and some light adjustment.

In my camera bag

Just a camera and zoom lens. Monopod for those special occasions. Travelling light. So little ability to carry a cadre of lens and equipment.

Feedback

Be patient.
