Location
Its was a warm sunny day and I was with my daughter-in-law, and granddaughter having fun visiting The Henry Ford Green field Village. This house was Savannah's favorite house and she was running all over inside pretending that she lived there. Outside the window in the photo above was a lone stone tower, and Savannah looked out to say, "Its Rapunzels tower!"Time
This was one of our last stops before heading towards the front of the village. This was taken in the afternoon hours as the sun was streaming through the windows.Lighting
This image was caught quite accidentally. I was looking at the fire place, when I turned to see Savannah looking out the window with her hand on the glass. She was just staring out the window in a day dream.Equipment
I'm not sure of the camera at the time. I have a few and sometimes even just have my Samsung Cell phone in pro mode.Inspiration
I too love this historic village, and who doesn't want a photo of their grandchildren caught in the moment of wonderment hanging on the wall?Editing
Not much adjustment. I did tighten the shadows up and the brighten the colors in her dress a bit. There were no lights other than sunlight. In my camera bag
On a normal day it my Canon 5D Mark III and a couple lenses with an extra battery.Feedback
This was a very old building, with original glass. Its that glass that helped to filter the light. With all of it natural sags and marks in it, made the sunlight scatter in many directions to light the perfect scene.
