It's funny what you think of when a "moment" occurs in nature. This wren came to my back door and sat in the branches just beyond the patio, just 3 feet from the door. I was so happy I had cleaned the windows so I could get a decent shot of that wren through a double pane of glass! If I had to open the door, the "moment" would have passed! So many shades of brown in the bird and the background!
