I took this photo of the 'Rough Green Snake' through glass at Chester Zoo (UK). on the 10th November, 2018.Time
The picture was taken about 11am. I am very pleased with the result.Lighting
The difficult thing about shooting through glass is trying to avoid reflections. In this case, the snake was in just the right position so luckily, reflections were not a problem.Equipment
The camera I used at this time was a Panasonic Lumix GX9 (Great camera) with an Olympus 40-150 3.5-5.6 zoom lens. 1/320 at F5.6. ISO 2500 (auto).Inspiration
I just liked the look of this little snake, and I liked the way he/she appeared to be looking back at me through the lens.Editing
The shot is a jpeg so just a little cropping. In my camera bag
I have swapped over to Sony this year and use the A6600 with an A6000 as back up.Feedback
Don't worry about the camera technology, concentrate on the composition of the picture.
