Location
Photo was taken at the Jurjeva Luka location on the island of Lastovo in Croatia. All the properties visited there are in the past owned by Yugoslav Army but today not used at all. Other few structures are solder barracks, hospitals, dry dock for pulling ships for repairs, observation tower, etc.Time

One of the structures we stumbled upon is with a plaque outside. It is saying: "In the year 1943 and 1944 in this building hospital of the People Liberating Army of Yugoslavia was located. This plaque was posted on 9 of September 1972, by the Community of Lastovo". That is saying a lot, in my opinion. Obviously long military tradition keeps this area as a historic reminder to the very well organized resistance to the German and Italian occupation during the WW II.Editing
Very little curve adjustment and cropping in Photoshop. I like 2:1 ratio. In my camera bag

Read about psychogeography, this on the ground "shifting focus" experience is making conditions for recording interaction with the space exciting. More about my experience and more photos and info from the same location here: http://urbansquares.com/17PsychoPortraits/25lastovo.html. Great photos are made by a perception of the person creating it, camera is just a technical help.
