This photo was taken in my yard in Upstate,NY. I am a self taught photographer who has just recently opened up my own photography business.Time
I remember taking this photo on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I was sitting outside in my gazebo and seen this sweet bird sitting outside of it's house. It was looking up at it's babies in the house. I took this picture hand held.Lighting
This was taken using all natural sunlight. The sun was behind me and shining just right onto this gorgeous blue bird.Equipment
This was shot on a nikon coolpix p900. No tripod or flash used.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo for my love of animals. I was also learning my camera at the time and learning my shutter speed.Editing
The only post processing i did for this image was adjusting my white balance.In my camera bag
In my camera bag i usually carry my Nikon coolpix p1000, my speedlight, estra batteries for my camera and speedlight. I also have filters in my bag at all times.Feedback
My only advice for shooting a similar image is take your time.
