Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Sidney BC Canada, it is located on a peninsula and when we get a colorful sunset the light reflects of the east side of Mt Baker that is across the water in Washington st. USA.

Time

Taken at about 830 pm the colours from the sunset reflecting back on the snow

Lighting

The conditions have to be just right, need a colorful sunset on the east side of the island with enough cloud to get color in the air but not to much so mt. Baker is viable.

Equipment

Canon 77D and a tripod

Inspiration

Just living in this incredible part of the world the natural beauty of Vancouver Island inspires me everyday.

Editing

Very little I don't have photoshop or lightroom just the basic windows photo screen so I can not do alot of post processing I try to use the natural light as much as I can.

In my camera bag

Basic set of filters a remote shutter my wide angle, 250 zoom and my kit lens, I use a reverse ring set up for macro, I don't have a lot of money so I have to improvise cheap alternatives because I can't afford the expensive lenses

Feedback

Patience waiting for the right light and just keep snapping practice makes perfect
