The photo was shot on an impulse, to go this route home after work. This was shot at Northeast Creek, Mount Desert Island, Maine, USA.Time
This was seconds around sunset. I was so lucky to catch it as this was an impulse to go after work and time was not on my side as far as getting there in the right time frame.Lighting
Nature was in control of the lighting. I was and am thankful that I was at the right place at the right time. I'm also thankful that I went with my impulse to go to that specific area that night, after a long day at work. Impulses in photography are great.Equipment
Canon, 24-105, hand held.Inspiration
Impulse, it seemed that the sunset was going to put on a show and I needed to decide where to go in the short time that I had to get there (after work.)Editing
Post was merging 3 bracket photos it was shot in RAW.In my camera bag
Basic lens and camera. I'm the "Limited Lens". ;-)Feedback
Go on the impulse when it strikes you. Always have your basic camera equipment with you just in case :-)
