The chamois, also simply called the goat, in Tatra Mountains. That one had quite a model approach - when she saw my interest she actually came closer. Gladly - due to rapid weather change - there was very limited amount of people on the trail so many goats from the area came out to the open. Seen quite a bunch of them that day, although the Tatra chamoise is a very rare sub-spiecies with CR status. There was a time that overall number of Tatra chamois was around 200 - both in Slovakia and Poland. Fortunatelly the spieces started to recover and currently there are around 1400 Tatra chamois individuals in Tatras.
