Perfect Lighting... Mike
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

It shot this one in ‘Griendsveen ‘ i knew it was going to be a great foggy morning with sun. So i got up early. And not for nothing ????

Time

Around 08.00h

Lighting

The light was comming though the trees lighting the water and the river side. This together with the fog was really magical. In postprocess I enhanced that feeling more with dodge&burn

Equipment

Tripod and Nikon d610 and a Tamron 24-70mm g2 f2.8

Inspiration

This area is known for its idillic sceneries. And magical photospots. I was there before in the morning and saw this wonderful view, so i knew i was going back here.

Editing

Yes, dodge and burn. Making the dark aereas darker and the light aereas brighter. A bit more in it

In my camera bag

We’ll most of the time my Tamron 70-200mm g2 f2.8 and a Tamron 24-70mm g2 f2.8 The 24-70mm i use most of the time. It is wide and it has som zoom. Goes well for street as portrait as naturephotography
