Behind The Lens

Location

That was editorial shoot with very talented make top artist Ewelina. I saw this reference of fire and I wanted to recreate this in my photography with my model Assisyah. We took it in alternative, grungy open gardens for artists in daytime.

Time

Thats was sunny summer day. People around us had picnics and drinks and we been doing shoot. My make up artist had to rework this make up few times

Lighting

Day Light, Hard Sun as I remember.

Equipment

Canon 5D mark IV lens 25-105

Inspiration

Middle East, Marrakesh and legends.

Editing

Yes I didi some retouch and lighting adjusting but not much to be honest

In my camera bag

I use for work and bigger shots Canon 5D mark Iv, but now I also purchased Canon EOS MII small digital camera and for now im very happy with the results. It is perfect to capture great moments, travel and social media content.

Feedback

It is very hard to make image kitch if you shooting this kind of style so really rethink your aesthetics and lighting. I learned a lot since I shot this image and I would use some other techniques here, I feel now it look 'too digital'
