Mount Murchison is a majestic mountain which dominates the landscape around the Tasmanian west coast towns of Tullah and Rosebery. I was lucky enough to summit this beautiful mountain earlier this week. It is a reasonably tough climb with a couple of spots that require a bit of intestinal fortitude. The views on many parts of the hike as well as from the summit more than make up for any discomfort though. Oh, and the view from the road at dawn isn't too shabby either.
