I took the photo here in Switzerland in a friend's studio. I have been working in the field of professional photography for over 10 years. The photography is so exciting, every project is new and special and beautiful in its very own way. Photography is not work for me, it is my Passion and Heartblood.Time
This is one of my favorite photos. The photo was taken in the studio in the morning. It was a project for an international hair campaign for Schwarzkopf. The best hairdresser in Switzerland launched an advertising campaign whereby this picture was takenLighting
If you want to illuminate hair as in this picture, it needs a really professional lighting, and a good reliable teamEquipment
For this shot, i used Profot flashes Broncolor Equipment, as well as two side striplights with honeycombs, and a quiver of hair light from the back. For this Photo recording, I used my Nikon D850 back then.Inspiration
The whole team on this day was incredibly professional. Everyone harmonized perfectly. We had this vision that hair must be moving. So we let the model jump up and down a thousand times until we had the perfect shotEditing
Yes, the hair had to be absolutely perfect for the advertising campaign. So we have commissioned the editing to a professional hair retoucher. In my camera bag
I've been working with Nikon for over 20 years. Recently, I chose Nikon's two mirrorless flagships Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z6. I have a 35mm 2.8 Nikkor Z Mount, Nikkor ZMount 24-70mm 4.0, Nikkor 105mm with 1.4, the 50mm 1.4, Nikkor 70-200 VR 2.8 and a 105mm Macro. For certain projects I use the medium format Mamiya, Pentax or HasselbladFeedback
Plan the shoot very well in advance! Put your team together, give clear instructions to each of your team and spread the tasks so that everyone does what they enjoy doing best! Because only when everyone feels comfortable, the best result comes out! Control your equipment ... And the most important of all, consider a shoot Never as work! Have Fun!
