This image was captured in late afternoon. We were indoors, but the entrance has swing style doors with glass center allowing lots of natural light inLighting
It’s back lit by natural sunlight, so I did use flash mounted on my cameraEquipment
I’ve been using Canon’s 6A series for a while. The fist generation and now the mkii that’s been out a while. I think it’s a very underrated DSLR, and it’s been a great model for my photography lens was a 24-70 f/2.8 lens and Canon FlashInspiration
The lighting, her smile and energy along with the natural backlight and background inspired me to capture this imageEditing
I did only basic light/shadow/highlights adjustments to this image in LightroomIn my camera bag
Currently, besides the Canon 6A mkii body, I have Tamarons mkii 70-200 f/2.8 and the 24-70 mkii f/2.8 lenses. I also have a Canon mkii 16-35mm f/2.8 for most of my wide angle needsFeedback
Outside of the equipment, having the desire to connect with people and also being intuitive regarding candid photos that are common in many magazines lends itself to capturing images like this
