This is my typical happy jump when I feel on top of the world, which in this case was in the Scottish Highlands. This was my first long trek and I had dread walking up the famous 'Devil's staircase'. It was fine in the end, and also meant that I was going to finish the trek on time despite the blisters and an injury on my knee. The views of the mountains at that point were spectacular and a huge wave of happiness invaded me.
