In 2009 when I hiked Spain's El Camino de Santiago de Compostela trail (a 780 + km. footpath) and was walking along the section from Fonfria to Samos on a lovely shaded path, I met a Spanish man walking with his donkey and his dog. He had been to Santiago de Compostela and was walking his way back to his home in Cadiz in southern Spain (a further 1000 km. trek). I asked if I could take his picture and he nodded "Si". He had a most beatific smile, his donkey was docile and his dog was just as happy!
