Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo off the deck at work, on the north side of Orcas Island, WA.

Time

It was at dusk, sunset in October.

Lighting

This was looking towards the western sky, as the sun was setting and with colors deepening I had to try for a good shot.

Equipment

This was actually shot using my Galaxy S8+ cell phone, leaning on a porch railing, set to iso 400, open for a half second shot.

Inspiration

The natural.colors coming out in the sky made for an irresistible impulse to take a shot.

Editing

Just cropped the shot to get the railing out of the foreground and let the natural beauty speak for itself.
