Location
This photo was taken in the Leeuwin Naturalist National Park in the south west corner of Western Australia. I took it while doing the 132km Cape to Cape walking trail. It is the Indian Ocean washing over rocks into a small pool along the coast.Time
This was around midday and the light was quiet harsh.Lighting
In the harsh light, the long exposure creates a soft focus with the water.Equipment
This was shot a Cannon 7D with an ND100 filter on a tripod.Inspiration
I love long exposure of water photography, be it rivers, waterfalls or the ocean.Editing
There was no post -processing on this photo. In my camera bag
I usually have a 18-300mm lens with a circular polariser, ND8 and ND100 in my kit for water photography.Feedback
The south west corner of Western Australia has a lot of limestone and granite outcrops making a stunning coastline intermingled with pristine white sandy beaches and sparking blue water.
