This photo was taken in Bend, Oregon (my home town) right after I was enjoying the first rain to end our drought we were in!Time
This picture was taken right after a rainy evening just after the storm broke and opened up to the sky! Also, right as the sun was setting! I thought this photo was going to be bad since it was so dark out, but the lighting was perfect and turned out beautifully. Self taught photographer and still learning as I go.Lighting
I honestly love using the natural light... so no flash or night vision. Also, I do not use light props or things of that sort. I feel it almost looses the the feeling when you have to alter things to your liking. Not sure if that was worth sharing, but maybe try some pictures without added lights and whatnot.Equipment

Since it was the first rain we had in a very long time I thought it was needed to remember the feeling of relief as we were experiencing too many wildfires. It not only brought happiness in the moment, but also years after as a great memory!Editing

Some people say be patient and wait for the perfect moment, but I say take as many pictures as you can because who knows if and when you will catch a beautiful picture! You might capture the prefect moment right before you planned for the "perfect moment".
