The jaqueira is a tree, according to naturalists from India. Like some fruits the jackfruit, that is the fruit of the jackfruit, conserves green after the maturation.
The name jaca comes from the Malaysian Chakka, also known by the name of Jacquier (France), yaca (Spain), giaca (Italy), jaquero (Mexico).
It is a fruit highly energetic, stimulating and considered, by some authors like aphrodisiac. Here in Brasília, there is almost a plague, so many trees are found. It is hard to imagine anyone passing a photo with the trees producing so many fruits.
