Another photo from my first visit to Golitha Falls Nature Reserve. With the days drawing in, getting up early enough for the hour drive to Golitha Falls isn't quite as challenging as it was a few months ago - and of course now the autumn colours are an added incentive!

I was immediately drawn to this tree in orangey-red autumn colour overlooking the River Fowey. I used it as the focal point - led in by the river.

A polarising filter helped to capture the vibrant colour, while the dark ambient light allowed for a slow shutter to record movement in the water.
