San Rafael Swell is a beautiful place and I highly recommend going there.
There's actually an abandoned mine in the side of hill, where the sand is still white.
It had a pretty amazing chute that was taken out by a landslide, although the mine itself is very shallow

Another Mesa Verde picture from this April.

This place is called Paradise and I can understand why

Took a trip to Mesa Verde this last April. I had a pretty rough knee injury so I didn't get to do as much hiking as I would have liked.

I think nature likes to pose.

Someday, I'd like to buy a nice camera but for now, I'll have to enjoy the one I have.

A phone picture, unfortunately.

I love the look of old Forestry signs.

Yeah, we got stuck.

I didn't have my camera on me, so I took this shot with my phone but it still turned out pretty good.

There's nothing better then finding a break in the trees.

Red tree looking good against the white snow.

It's always intrigued me that the sky never ends.

And how tired I can get is also an amazing fact.

I still wish I could have gotten a picture of both the homes and the great view that beyond the banister but I still can't panorama correctly.
So

Finally, winter is over.
