the Stone Age in fact. They’re just pieces of stone from my collection, but when I hold them it gives me a direct link to a time before technology, before metal working even. Tools like these arrowheads were worked by carefully chipping flint stones to create cutting edges. They may be the work of humans from 7,000 years ago which is exciting to say the least, but they could also be the work of humans from up to 3 million years ago which is a reality almost impossible to contemplate. However old they are, they fill me with a sense of awe and wonder, to trace the marks on tools carefully fashioned by our prehistoric ancestors. Crazy!
