I had the joy of observing this majestic white rhino, on the ground, with the rhino's armed security detail, on a savannah in Africa. Witnessing this majestic animal, in its natural habitat, was a highpoint in my photographic adventures. The dedication of the soldiers assigned to protect the white rhino population was inspiring. Poachers greatly threaten the rhino population, forcing African governments to employ extreme measures to protect rhinos in the wild.
