This little one actually scared the heck out of me. I was parked on the side of the road and getting my camera out when I turned around after hearing a noise. This cub had made a small call only about 10 feet away. I very, very quickly jumped into the back seat of my truck and not a moment too soon as Mom came up the embankment I was next to, right behind it. They hung around for a minute or so and went about their business.
