Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Washington heights in an area what we call bum alley it mostly a path heading toward the park near the bridge.

Time

I took this photo in the evening wanted to take advantage of the street lighting on days that area is foggy it give a gritty silhouette of the area

Lighting

Just took advantage of the street lighting in that specific area

Equipment

The camera that I used was a $400 canon rebel t6 one of my first cameras that I still have and use.

Inspiration

In my eyes I wanted to show how strong she is while facing the dark of an unknown night.

Editing

To me the less editing the better I just touched up the lighting and the shadowing I always try to have the optimal settings for that one moment

In my camera bag

During the time I used my t6 with a Ef 18-55 mm lens

Feedback

Find a great overhead light source and take advantage of its natural background and lighting.
