Behind The Lens
Location
This photograph was taken in Belfast. Its a view over the River Lagan that runs beside the city center. It is shot from the Queen Bridge over the river.Time
This was near the time I first moved over to Belfast and was taken in evening. I was creating some long exposure photographs.Lighting
The lighting in this photograph is what makes the photograph. The mix of light comes from the building, street lights and traffic. The Belfast Buses with the pink LED strip lights added a nice glow throughout the photographs.Equipment
I uses a Canon 1300d and a tripod. Thats all you need to make affective photographs.Inspiration
I was looking for something interesting and different to what I produce usually. I saw the different kinds of lighting and thought it would be really nice to capture it.Editing
I used photoshop and did a little bit of touching up with the exposure but not an awful lot on this occasion. In my camera bag
Usually carry a 28-200mm lens along with my 50mm prime lens. I carry my tripod and extension trigger too.Feedback
Get out and just try it. If you are new to photography best way to learn is to just get out there and try it for yourself. Spend time thinking about your angle and think outside the box. Everyone is able to take photographs these days on phones so there is a harder time to stand out. Take time and just do it.
