Location
I've taken this photo in Plottier city, near to a small artificial lake when i was teaching outdoor photography. Neuquén province, Argentina.Time
It was late in the afternoon, last sunny hour of the day when the winter temperature starts to drop down quickly.Lighting
With assistance from my students we where bouncing light from the down side of her face as you can see in her eyes.Equipment
Canon 6D, 85mm f1.8, no flash where used, only natural light on a cloudy day and a bouncer for filling light.Inspiration
Her eyes. My model has a strong and deep sight. I wanted to emphasize that part of her face by asking to cover the rest of her face, even when she's really cute. Sometimes is a bit difficult to find what's the most relevant part in a face, but is so important for making a photography really interesting and engaging.Editing
Only touched a bit color, and curves in photoshop. In my camera bag
Actually i still using my Canon 6D with a Canon 24-70mm f2.8 and a Canon 85mm f1.8. That's all.Feedback
My advice is to be careful with DOF. Some people abuses of big diaphragm apertures and loose some important details from the model's face. Focus should tell what's important and softer parts should tell what's secondary. Finally bokeh always works well if you aren't sacrificing what's important in the focus point.
