In the middle of Sorško polje there is a small church dedicated to the saint Ursula. The church is located nearly 500 m outside of a village and is part of parish Kranj.

The first church build here was made of wood. It was destroyed in the 17th century by parson Jurij Kramaršek, that also decided to build a new church at this place. The foundation stone was laid by the bishop Tomaž Hren on the 26. August 1612. The church was renovated in 2012 and is again proud jewel of Sorško polje.

There is a small road leading to the church that branch from the main road Kranj – Škofja Loka. It is best to visit the church at the sunset.
