Behind The Lens

Location

Photo of the spotted wood owl was shot in World of Darkness exhibit of Jurong Bird Park in Singapore. Incidentally, the bird park is in the progress of shifting from Jurong to Mandai together with Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Night Safari.

Time

It was captured during a family excursion on 8 Apr 2017 at 10.43 am.

Lighting

Owls are kept in the World of Darkness, so it was quite dim.

Equipment

Shot with Canon PowerShot G7 X: 1/8 sec. f/2.8 29.902 mm

Inspiration

It was an ideal spot to photograph the owl in the exhibit enclosure as an obliging model.

Editing

Just enhance the brightness only.

In my camera bag

Carrying the spare battery for my camera.
