I took this picture in Oddar Meanchey province, Cambodia, in January 2018. I work in agriculture sector development and I had to meet a farmer at her place. But as I was waiting for her I had a look around the house. There were these two pigs in their pen, practically under the house (house on stilts), standing on the fence and with that curious and interested gaze. They look so expressive!Time
I think the picture was shot early afternoon.Lighting
Natural light only for this shot. It was a little bit dark, as the pigs pen in practically under the house as mentionned above. There is more light coming from the open fields behind. Yet enough light to have a good shot and I actually like this back lighting. It enhances the contours of the of the two pigs' heads and their "hairs" (especially around their ears).Equipment
This picture was made with my phone. A Huawei (one of those on which they have a partnership with Leica... but a quite old model now). In the in-built black and white mode.Inspiration
Look at these two jovial faces! How not to get inspired!!Editing

Well, even if I took this shot with a smartphone, I usually (and now) use a Fujifilm XT-20. Then, lenses will depend on what I want to do and if I want to avoid to be overloaded... But if I am not too restricted I will go with a couple of zoom les (55-200mm and 16-50 mm) and I also have these two prime lenses that I love: the 16 mm F1.4 and the 56 mm F1.2... And a tripod...Feedback
Well, for a shot like this it is really "just catch the moment". There was no plan. And it's just a smartphone picture. But I love it.
