I used to live in Dublin and spend hours in Phoenix Park chasing the deers. I loved them...some were scared, some were shy, some were curious, some were bold.
I have plenty of pictures of them, in their mysterious beauty and glorious elegance. All of them, through their own character, gave me some happiness, each single time.
That day, all of them got scared at a group of loudy people...but this one. Who parted from the others and stayed, looking at me for a while, unmoving, silent, offering me the delicate feeling of being unique in his kind. This meeting between animal and human is comparable to love at first sight, the sweetest and most powerful thing one lover of the nature can feel. The kind of meeting you never forget.
