This photo was taken in my home studio in Ottawa, Canada.Time
This image was shot around 8:30 PM i wanted to avoid any ambient light possible to prevent ambient light spill.Lighting
I wanted the image to be bold rather than a beauty shot so I used rembrandt lighting style as you can see on the left side of the subject using the main light. The other 2 lights were used as hair lights to light the feathers.Equipment

I went to a craft store and saw the feather wreath and immediately I know I wanted to so something special with it.Editing
I did very minimal post processing work on this image, most of was skin retouching since the subject skin broke out during the photo session.In my camera bag
My to go bag always have 2 Canon Bodies: Canon 5D MKIV and Canon 6D MKi along with my favourite lenses 70-200mm f/2.8 and 16-35mm f/2.8 I always a small flash for any photo opt that may come my way.Feedback
Photography is about creativity so my advice would be to let your imagination runs wild and not to be afraid to try new things.
