Image captured atop fence behind the local YMCA, late in the evening. Walking west, into the sunset, this Green Heron came atop just after I was hopin

I was a good ways back from this juncture along my afternoon walk and saw this unfold way ahead. It looked to be perfect.

I set my Canon ELPH HS100 underneath the flower and set the flash to go off as well. I thought it turned out pretty good.

An Egyptian Goose flew around and came in for a landing, I captured three photos, this the only one of him on the ground.
