The Knysna Turaco (previously Knysna Lourie) is endemic to the southern coastal forests of South Africa. It tends to prefer concealment in the upper parts of trees and only (usually) displays its brilliant wing colours when flying away. For whatever reason, this image was tiurned on its side when uploaded! (Can't seem to get it restored to normal view) Image taken January 2018
