The Aztec people were big on religious ceremonies. I'm sure you know the type of "ceremonies" I'm referring to - the ones that involve using people and animals. The Aztec worshipped the Rain God, Tlaloc. He was revered for providing life to the lands and was believed to reside in the mountain and the clouds. ⛅

We got to Teotihuacan in the afternoon. There weren't too many tourists and the temperatures were cooler than expected for summer. We took an Uber which took a little over an hour to get to from Mexico City. Walking around the complex and climbing all the pyramids will take most of the day. The site closes at 5 PM so come early to maximize your time there. It's an awe-inspring place that I would recommend visiting if you ever find yourself in Mexico City.
