Location
Montgarri is a town in the municipality of Alto Arán, in the region of Valle de Arán located in the Pyrenees of Lleida - Catalunya. Coordinates: 42°45 38 N 1°00 17 E The Sanctuary of Montgarri, at a height of 1640 meters, is in a good state of conservation, was built in 1117. Its high bell tower stands out, with an octagonal tower with windows in the upper body. It is a building that had a hostel, church, rectory and administration, and corral with haystacks. Slate roofs have a strong inclination appropriate to climatic conditions. On one of my summer walks in the area I was captivated by the views of the valley and the peculiarity of the Sanctuary, so I waited until autumn to take the photo I thought could have a fantastic light.Editing
