Recently my father passed away. He was very, very, ill. He spoke often of his home state of Texas and wrote songs about the place he called home. Particularly, his home town of Corpus Christi. A month ago I had the opportunity to visit. Fields of cotton for miles, long roads with powder blue skies stretched across the plane. I remembered how my father described it to me. This picture reminds me of his long ride home and his difficult journey. I am thankful that God was gracious to him and he went in his sleep. Love you Dad.
