These days I was practicing urban portraits, also at night time. This photo is the result of these trial shootings.Lighting
At this point, I did not own any external flash so I needed to calculate with street lights. It was an exciting challenge to find the perfect and most creative angles.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 80D with a Canon 50mm f 1.8 II lens on.Inspiration
I do like to roam the streets in the city and find hidden scenes for my photography.Editing
For this shot, I only used Lightroom for color correction.In my camera bag
I have three lenses for my Canon 80D, a Sigma 17-50mm f2,8, a Canon 10-18mm f3,5-4,5 and the 50mm f1,8 Canon lens which I used for this shot as well.Feedback
Be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours with your model finding the best spot with the best lights for the shot. Also, spend a little bit of time with your model beforehand, have a coffee or tea and have a chat. It helps a lot if you build up some rapport and break the ice.
