I used a little post processing, I used Lightroom to lighten the photo and upped the saturation to make the strong colours popIn my camera bag
I have now upgraded my camera to a nikonD5600 where I always carry the kit 18-55mm, the 50-200mm used for this photo, and a 30mm 1.8. I also often carry a VND and a CPLFeedback
I say just walk around areas that interest you and see if there a large areas of people taken photos and one spot cause there normally is a reason
