This photo was taken down the road from my house, from a little tree one of my neighbors has that’s now hanging over her fence some. I just saw the beauty in the flowers and wanted to get up close to see more within. I love zooming in on flowers and seeing all the pollen inside. It’s what’s tucked under the petals that make the flowers.Time
It was early afternoon and this was honestly a spur of the moment shoot. I’m always looking for something new to photograph when I’m wandering outside. These stuck out to my because they were hanging over a dingy fence.Lighting
The lighting in this, I wanted to be able to show how bright the flower was, yet show that even those most beautiful things will fade away with time. Beauty doesn’t last forever but the memory of that beauty will. It’s within the fibers or each thing around us. I’m always open to tips and tricks for better lighting.Equipment
This was totally shot with an Apple iPhone 8 because I can’t afford a full size camera. I’m self trained and I do a lot of digital photography where I’ll edit the photo later on if need be. Most of my pictures are left raw/unedited though.Inspiration
Honestly, I was just walking to the gas station and the tree caught my eye. See this woman has a lot of plants in her backyard, so every time I walk by her house I’m on the lookout to shoot something new that maybe you haven’t seen before. And if you have seen it before, you haven’t seen it in the way I’ll show you. I’m just an amateur photographer taking pictures on my spare time in hopes to build that profile to become professional (and get noticed by the professionals) and own my own studio one day.Editing
No this was a digital photo. In my camera bag
If I had a full size camera I would carry everything it comes with with me.Feedback
Just take the picture! Do not over think it. Take 50 pictures of the same thing in all different angles, close up and far away, with colors turned all the way up then all the way down. Don’t just settle for one. Take many so you can look back at them all and find out which ones really catch your eye. Because if it catches your eye, then it’s bound to catch somebody else’s eye, and the next thing you know the whole world sees it. ????
