January 1998 leaving a trail of steam curling right around the valley on a bitterly cold morning 2 X QJ 2-10-2 steam locomotive cross the viaduct next to Erdi brickworks and will shortly plunge into tunnel 2. Many visits to this location were not successful due to the wind but on a still morning like this with a train at the right time it was a stunning sight.
