New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officer Chris McKee releases the young Barred Owl who he rescued during the taping of 'North Woods Law'. As it was too young to be left on the ground, they searched but could not find the nest. One of the adults was there, but it would not be able to defend this Owlet and the rest of the clutch back in the hidden nest at the same time.
The young Owlet was brought to a rehab facility called 'On The Wing' run by Jane Kelly in Epping, New Hampshire.
The bird was placed with other Barred Owlets that were raised until they were old enough to hunt and defend themselves.

I help out Jane with various promotion images to help raise funds for On The Wing.
The film crew for North Woods Law came to Epping to film the release of this bird into the wild for it's very first flight !! I was there to record the recording.
