Last year my wife and I went out to Iceland on holiday and explored the entire island from the hikes and hot springs on the western fjords to the forest in northern iceland and explored the towns in the east fjords. We finally made our way down to southern Iceland where we did the golden circle. I have to say that some of the forests in Northern Iceland were our favorites, we were all by ourselves during a busy season, it was so different from the rest of the island. Absolutely loved it! Here is from our hike through the forest.
