Location
We took this photo out by wascana trails in Regina, Saskatchewan. It’s around a 30 to 40 minute hike to this location before handTime
throughout the day we took pictures below the hill, we knew we were going to start to loose sun so we headed up to our highest peak to catch the last little bit of golden rays!Lighting
the sun is natural, there was no additional lighting added to the camera and shotEquipment
If I am correct the photographer shot with a cannon of some style, older version. Then we shot and took this exact photo style with an 80’s Polaroid for keep sake memories.Inspiration
Nature and the outdoors are one of my favourite things to enjoy, a beautiful sunset always adds dimension and colours to a photo you wouldn’t normally get with just a camera, lighting, and studio. I wanted to show the authenticity in the outdoors through someone else’s eyes.Editing
I did not post-process this photo, it came out clear with the natural light and the camera I was using, I exposed the colours in Lightroom to enhance the vibrancy. In my camera bag
I usually use old film myself personally! Usually a 60’s Diana film, 80’s holga, and a 80’s Polaroid, plus a new instax mini Polaroid for instant memories regarding the photo shoot.Feedback
Take your time, enjoy your surroundings, and get above the sun while setting from a higher point of view!
