This is my gran'ma. She's 90 years old. She was born, and still lives, in Elsass, east of France. She lived through the second world war. She was arrested by the Germans when she was 15 because they thought she was a spie (although she was just trying to reach her village to see if her parents were alive). Her village was the "no man's land" between the German and the Americans. Everything was destroyed. The children were payed by the Americans to collect artisanal landmines.
She lived through all of that.
But she's still the most positive, the most joyous person I know.
She's my gran'ma.
