Location
Local, to my home in the Lincolnshire countryside. A path I often walk that cuts across a field, to the river has large patches of both white and pink clover.Time
It would have been afternoon, but it was a while ago now, and I can't be completely sure, but usually, it's about 3-4pm, as that's when it is quiet.Lighting
I find the light at the time of the day isn't so harsh, and you get some nicer, natural colours.Equipment
Just the camera....I have a stick that I sometimes use, but not this time.Inspiration
I love butterflies, and it just suddenly appeared....I followed it until it landed in a good spot, and took the shot.Editing
Just some minor tinkering on the computer, and some cropping. In my camera bag
Camera, pen, notebook, lens cloth, spare batteries.Feedback
With butterflies, just patience, luck, and for specific varieties, research their habitat, and go find it....and then, more patience and luck!
