This photo was taken at a lake in the mountains in the Swiss alps.Time
This is one of my favourite photographs. I woke up for sunrise and headed through the forest trail until I reached the view of the stunning blue water.Lighting
I wanted to capture the surroundings of the landscape to show how peaceful and beautiful the alps is.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D Mark II and a 50mm 1.8 lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I’m always outdoors and exploring nature. I love finding new landscapes and capturing the natural beauty in each place.Editing
I adjusted the shadows, highlights, whites and blacks. I also adjusted the tone curve to add contrast to the image and finally I adjusted the the greens to let the blue of the water stand out.In my camera bag
I have my current camera body which is a Canon EOS R. I also have a 50mm 1.2 lens and a 24-105mm f4 lens.Feedback
This place can be very busy during certain times so I would suggest waking up early for sunrise and exploring the surroundings first to get familiar with the area.
