Sometimes the blandest of subjects can produce an image that tells a story.
Prague Night.
But what story is this picture telling me?
Our first night in Prague we walked down an almost deserted main street. I was drawn to the tram lines and the lighting making this pure perspective and almost graphic image. I saw great speed in this stationary view.
The few shadowy people on the right, but what are they talking about. In the distance in the middle of the street three folk huddle and maybe decide what they want to do, go clubbing, drinking, mugging or how to get back to their hotel? All within the darkness of the city street, a street lit by garish shop and street lights.
Despite the quiet subject and relative silence of the scene it still gives a sense of unease and speed. This is what I mean by telling a story in a picture
